Summary/Objective:
Effectively Set-Up & Operate 3, 4, & 5 Axis CNC mills while safely following quality requirement and production standards.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform Set Ups and operation of 3,4, & 5 Axis CNC Mills, turning centers, and multi-axis machines.
Ability to use forethought and best machining practices to achieve optimal performance results within the allocated timeframeExperience with tight tolerance aerospace / defense and semi-conductor NPI machining with the ability to hold tolerances of +/-.
0002Must be able to maintain a 90% efficiency rate during set-up/operation, and scrap rate of less than 1%Read and follow job router, set-up sheet and work instructions and provide feedback to improve processMaintain positive attitude even during stressful situationsMeasure and document as required inspection data to assure part compliance, utilizing mechanical methods, manual and automated CMMs.
Read and interpret blueprint dimensions, symbols, and notesOrganize, clean, and maintain work areaCommunicate with Engineering on issues, needs, and improvementsBuild Fixtures to drawing requirementsSetup, Prove-out and optimize process to minimize cycle-time and increase probability of success while communicating and working with other departments i.
